Hey Folks! Relecite here. Well, it seems the tides have turned for Jaguar emulation... From the discontinued Jagged Project and Omega Core to Realityman's newest Jag emulation project, Cheetah, and now JADE. I'm overjoyed to see the Jaguar emulation scene explode as it has. I'd like to announce that Solex from the previous "Jag64bitEmu" project has joined the JADE project! This bringing our total number to three. (Ooohh!) JADE had almost completely stopped due to total lack of information. This lack of information is what lead to the demise of "Jag64bitEmu" our predicessor. But there were several people who responded to my requests for help. Thanks to them, JADE has risen from the ashes of Jag64bitEmu. I give my thanx to the following people: _MSoft_ This guy wrote me one day, and when I logged on to IRC to talk to him I ended up recieving loads of ROM images for most of the Jag carts! Later he sent me the covetted Jag BOOT ROM. In addition, as JADE developes, he will be our primary beta tester. Thanx _MSoft_ you rock! Charlie Demerjian He also has helped out TREMENDOUSLY! After mailing me with an offer to help our developement of JADE, he mentioned he had the PC version of the Jag's DevKit. Within a few days, I had it! This DevKit was the final piece to our emulation puzzle... now we can actually make JADE more than a fancy GUI!! Atila of WWW.RETROGAMES.COM He sent me a load of tech documents. Rock on man. Barbadel He's an ex-game programmer for Atari. He has offered to help us with any technical questions. I'm sure his advice will prove invaluable in the future. BobaFett This guy has been a great help. He has provided alot of inside news, and also informed Zophar of WWW.Zophar.NET of our exsistance. He has also located some good information for us. Keith Wilkins of HANDY an Atari Lynx Emulator Keith has been a personal inspiration for me as he has been able to emulate a difficult and complex system such as the Lynx, even though there are few games for it... Sound familiar?! I hope JADE will become the HANDY of the Jag! Last but not least, PhagaN Man who runs and maintains JADE's official website and who stuck with me when it seemed our emulator was going nowhere. Alright, that's it for the Thankyous. JADE is progressing SLOWLY currently. I know talk is cheap so I won't dance around the fact that we (Solex, Relecite and PhagaN Man) are some what novice programmers. I'd like for any good programmer who's up for a challenge to step forward and join JADE in emulating the Atari Jaguar! An additional Thanks goes out to all I spoke to on IRC that I didn't mention above. Take care. -Relecite

Were baaaaacccccccck! What you thought the project was dead? Well it's not. We've hit a technical snag caused by total lack of technical documents. But we are pressing on! And also, any people familiar with the Jaguar hardware are implored to contact us. ~ jag64 team ~
